Bara Sushi House Reviews and Press
'The well-informed staff will guide you to your favorite combinations.'
"In a darling converted Victorian house, lives BaRa Sushi, featuring a private Tatami room which seats 8, as well as flavorful and beautifully presented sushi rolls and sashimi. The well-informed staff will guide you to your favorite combinations. Recommended are the oyster shooters and seaweed salad appetizers, as well as the Buddha Roll." - The Portland Mercury
'And if there’s a cozier sushi bar in Portland, it would have to be in somebody’s living room.'
"Ever wondered what Clinton Street would taste like if it could be distilled into a sushi roll? According to the chefs at BaRa Sushi, it’d be a combination of crab meat, avocado, cilantro and mango. Those are the ingredients of its Clinton Corner Roll ($15), named after the spot it occupies in the hip southeast neighborhood. Not sure what that combination is supposed to say about the area, other than it tastes great. Too spendy? Nigiri starts at $3.25. And if there’s a cozier sushi bar in Portland, it would have to be in somebody’s living room." - The Willamette Week
' Like many neighborhood spots, this one has a personality all its own, and a few outstanding specialties.'
